We're pleased to announce the below two tour options for our conference delegates and partners to showcase a little bit of New Zealand's World Famous beauty.
Hobbiton Express Day Tour - Monday 03 September
Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the real Middle-Earth during your stay in New Zealand with a visit to The Hobbiton Movie Set which was the bucolic setting for the Shire for the Lord of the Rings film trilogy and The Hobbit film series. It is situated on a family farm 8 k's away from west of Hinuera and southwest of Matamata in Waikato, New Zealand and is now a Tolkien tourism destination, offering guided tours of the set.
Tour Includes:
* Pick up and drop off at inner city accommodation. Return transport from Auckland. Pick up will start from 7AM and return back to Auckland approximately at 3.30PM (times are approx.)
* Admissions and guided tour of Hobbiton Movie Set
* $10 souvenir voucher, which can be redeemed at the Hobbiton gift shop
* A Complimentary ale, cider, or ginger beer at the Green Dragon Inn
* Finish by ‘Hobbit Style’ buffet lunch before heading back to Auckland

With pristine beaches, world class wines, and fantastic cuisine, it’s easy to see why Waiheke Island is considered the jewel in the Hauraki Gulf’s crown. Although only 35 minutes from Auckland, you’ll feel like you’re a world away as you browse through art galleries, sample award-winning olive oils and soak in stunning sea views.
Tour Inclusions and Proposed Itinerary:
* Return ferry ticket from downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal to Waiheke Island. Tour driver will meet and greet you
* First stop: Stonyridge Vineyard. You will enjoy a tour and wine tasting. A light lunch will be served with views over the vineyard
* Second stop: Rangihou Estate. You will be introduced to Waiheke’s olive growing industry, including tasting award winning olive oils
* A quick stop at Casita Miro Restaurant, will leave you enchanted with tastes and feelings of the Mediterranean
* Last Stop: Mudbricks Vineyard. Tour finished with wine tasting at Mudbrick Vineyard, with spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf
* Tour driver will drive you back to the ferry terminal. You can take the advantage of complimentary All Day Bus Pass, if you wish to explore further the island
* The confirmed sailing times for the day are 11.00am depart the downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal and 5.00pm depart the Waiheke Ferry Terminal
