Abstract submissions for round 2 have now closed. All results will be announced on Wednesday 21 March, 2018.
Conference Theme & Sub Themes
The overarching theme of the conference is Transforming the Landscape of Healthcare. We are also incorporating several sub themes. These are:

Abstract Presentation Types
We are accepting abstract submissions in the following four categories.
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are 20 minutes in total. This consists of a 15 minute presentation, and up to 5 minutes for Q&A and moving between presentation rooms (where required).
Abstract Submission length – 350 words (excludes sub theme, title and references)
Workshops
Workshops are 60 minutes in total. This consists of a 5-10 minute introduction to the workshop, the main interactive component and up to 5 minutes for Q&A and moving between presentation rooms (where required). Workshops should aim to provide opportunities for audience participation, interaction and discussion. We welcome co-facilitation.
Abstract Submission length – 400 words (excludes sub theme, title, ideal minimum & maximum attendance and references)
Posters
All A0 posters (landscape or portrait) will be on display throughout the conference. There will be a dedicated poster presentation session which authors are expected to attend to informally present their posters and take any questions. Authors are also responsible for printing and bringing their posters with them. Allocation of poster locations is on a first come basis.
Presenters should be present at their poster for the whole 30 minutes poster allocation slot, and are encouraged to engage with anyone during this time. Presenters should officially present their posters during their allocated time slot, noting 3 minutes for the presentation, and 1-2 minutes for Q&A and moving to other posters.
Abstract Submission length – 250 words (excludes sub theme, title and references)
Soap-Box
Soap-box presentations are 5 minutes in total which includes the option for 1 question. This presentation type will have no projector or screen, will be on a small raised stage, and we encourage our soapbox presenters to communicate in a variety of ways. Feel free to be creative through music, theatre or poetry etc. There will be limited soap-box presentations programmed and the 5 minutes time-frame will be strictly adhered to.

Please download and complete the appropriate abstract template based on which style of presentation you are intending to submit. We welcome multiple abstract submissions, but please ensure the correct template is used for each submission.

We will still be accepting abstracts in the second round, and however those results will be known in 2018. Apart from that, there is no difference between the abstract submission rounds.

Acceptance Process
All abstracts will be blind reviewed by peers from the international interporfessional community. Presenters with accepted abstracts will be notified by the date previously indicated and should register before the early bird deadline to make the most of the reduced registration rate, although this is not compulsory. However, in order to be included in the conference proceedings and the final programme, all abstract presenters with accepted abstracts will need to register no later than Friday 20 July, 2018. The conference organisers reserve the right to remove anyone from the conference proceedings and the final programme who has not registered by this date.
